So this is my update for the lose belly far project. I'm on my day 7 of my journey to being fit and healthy and my second day to the gym.

I am really greatful for the support of my friends and family and also to some of you who's sending me emails of encouragement. I really appreciate it, it drives me to go on further.

So today was a really great progress. I did jog for a few minutes and head to the gym with my brother. I did an intense cardio exercise for 40 minutes doing 30 seconds fast pedaling and 60 seconds of slow phase pedaling. I did it for the whole 40 minutes and according to the stationary bike equipment I burn 660 calories for doing that.

Aside from cardio I focused on strength exercise using dumbbells with a combined weight of 30 lbs (15 lbs on each hand). I did use a kettlebell with 15 lbs doing 10 rep for 4 sets. I also used a shoulder press having a 50 lbs weight with 10 rep for 4 sets.

It was a real good feeling although my bidy hurts at the moment but as what other said "no pain no gain". I am much comfortable right now, I may become s gym rat in the future. I really feel that my body is changing together with lessening my food intake.

I really hope that i could achieve my goal in less than a year or at least a year. Self-improvement is one of life goals and being fit and healthy is one of them.

For today's meal I had a cup noodles and fortified low fat chocolate milk for breakfast. A cup of tinolang manok and a cup of rice for lunch and dinner. I had 3 pandesal and a milo energy drink 200 ml for my snack. It's a total of  1107 calories according to myfitnesspal app that I downloaded for my iphone.



Again, I am still consuming less food than before. I know that this is not ideal as the recommended calorie intake for men should be at lease 1200 - 1500 according to National Institute of Health but as I have said I know my body well and since I am targeting a less than a year to meet my goals I really need to lessen my food intake and do healthy exercise.

As long as I am not overdoing it and eating healthy food I think that everything will be okay. In the next few weeks I'll be trying to go vegan or at least pure meat and no rice diet.

So that's a bout it for today. I lose 1 lbs already on my second day in the gym. I am really proud of my self for doing this with the combine fitness program that I am doing (vigorous exercise and strengthening) plus the diet I am already lossing weight.
